These opportunities include:
Teacher Institutes: An opportunity to receive up to $5,000 in funding for a Teacher
P.D. Initiative.
Arnold Awards: This subsidy is given to assist in the participation of geographic professional
development in the current school year.
Project Atmosphere: The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society invites you to

“Canadian Geographic magazine is an excellent resource for teachers and students. It provides posters in both official languages, such as the St. Lawrence Seaway map, as well as short geography related news items suitable for current events. In addition, the June issue each year is devoted to environmental issues such as wind energy.”
